Many 5 star hotels, including Taj, Oberoi and ITC Maurya, have started offering HM courses for young professionals to maintain their standards. These are some of the most renowned and respected institutions that offer hotel management degrees in India:
Institute of Hotel Management, Aurangabad
The prestigious hotel management school is a joint effort of Maulana Azad Educational Trust and Taj Hotels Resorts & Palaces. This institution's curriculum aligns with industry standards and is internationally recognized. IHM Aurangabad offers the following courses:
1. BA/BA (Hons) Hotel Management -
Students can choose from BA (Hons.) Hotel Management or BA Hotel Management degrees. The BHM course was designed with the needs of the global hospitality and service industry in mind. The University of Huddersfield will award the degree to the successful student upon completion of the course.

Duration: 4 years
Eligibility: Candidates must pass 10+2 (or an equivalent exam in any stream) in the English language. Students who will be appearing for their board exams in the current academic year are also eligible to apply for the course.
Admission Process: This process follows the University of Huddersfield's guidelines. Students interested in applying for admission will need to take a written test that will cover abstract reasoning, verbal reasoning and numerical reasoning. Students are then shortlisted based on their performance in a Group discussion followed by a personal interview.
2. BA (Hons) Culinary Arts-
This course is ideal for students who want to be chefs or entrepreneurs. The University of Huddersfield will confer a degree upon completing the course.

This course has the same admissions process as BA/BA (Hons), Hotel Management.
The Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development
Oberoi Group is one of the best colleges for hotel management, which offers Bachelor of Hotel Management programs under its institute, Oberoi Centre of learning and Development. It was founded in 1966. The Oberoi Centre for Learning and Development initiated the systematic training and education programme (STEP) in 2004. Currently, around 250 students receive training in 11 Oberoi hotels.
Systematic Training and Education Programme (STEP).
The program is 3 years long and allows students to be trained in any Oberoi Hotels. Training is provided in the core operational areas of Food and Beverages and kitchens, Housekeeping, Housekeeping, and Front-Office. Students can also enrol at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), where they will receive a Bachelor's Degree (BTS) in Tourism Studies. Two programmes are available under STEP:
Hotel Operations Program: This course teaches you how to manage a hotel.
The Kitchen Operations Programme offers training in Indian and Western kitchens. You can also get training in operations such as cold cooking, pastry, and baking.
The company will pay you a monthly salary and your uniform and fees to IGNOU as part of the program.
Duration: 3 years
Eligibility: Candidates must have passed their 10+2 examination by July with a minimum of 50%. They must also have English proficiency and be between 17 and 21 years old.
Admission Process: There are three levels to the admission process. Round 1 includes candidates being assessed on their mannerisms, grooming, and command of English. Round 2 includes a personal interview with the Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development's senior faculty. Finally, candidates who have been shortlisted are invited to orientation and counselling.
